1. When examined for the first time in the ER, the patient was alert and hemodynamically stable, and her temperature was 38.5o C. The physical examination at admission was normal except for a right bronchial breathing on chest auscultation.

Afin de caractériser avec plus de précision les différentes souches (1 du sujet contact et 3 des patientes atteintes) et d’établir leur homologie sur le plan moléculaire, on a expédié les échantillons au National Centre for Streptococcus, à Edmonton (Alberta).
